About the Wildcats of Denver

          WILDCATS OF DENVER

The mission of Wildcat softball is to engage female youth 18 and younger who have experienced success – or a minimal amount of success – while participating in high school softball. Our team bolsters academic achievement through athletics and through a willingness to learn how to challenge and capture one’s self pride, dignity, and sportsmanship. Each player will become a better softball player, and gain a positive outlook through a positive support systems of athletics. Other than being a team player for the Wildcats Softball Team during the winter, spring and summer our players experience and develop a level of learning a sense of responsibility as an athlete student and community member.

Our goals are as follows:

1.) To provide a safe educational environment with an understanding of how         athletics walk hand and hand with academic achievement.

2.) Playing club softball is identifying each player’s skills, and then to take them to a higher level utilizing athletics to attain academic achievement.

3.) To maintain quality teaching on and off the field to have all Wildcat players become a well rounded player student and community member.
